Who we are

This website is operated by Rescue Forge, a responder education division of Paragon Medical Comprehensive Training Solutions, based in Ontario, Canada ("Rescue Forge," "we," "us"). This policy describes what information we collect through this site, how we use it, and your choices.

Information you submit

When you submit the contact form, the details you enter (typically your name, email address, an optional phone number, the program you are interested in, and any details you include in your message) are sent to Rescue Forge and stored securely in our inquiry records so that your message is not lost. As a convenience, the form also opens a pre-filled email to train@rescueforge.ca in your own email client; sending that email is optional.

If you create a Rescue Forge Academy account, we store your email address and the authentication information needed to provide sign-in and course access. Passwords are handled by our authentication service and are not visible to Rescue Forge.

For the contact form we also store a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address. It is used only to limit automated spam submissions and cannot be used to identify you.

We use this information to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing train@rescueforge.ca.

Technical and log data

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically record ordinary technical information when you visit — such as IP address, user agent, referring page, and time of request — for the purpose of delivering the site reliably and investigating errors or abuse.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use non-essential tracking, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. If we introduce analytics or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, provide an appropriate consent mechanism.

How we use your information

• To reply to your inquiry and follow up about the program you asked about.
• To operate, maintain, and improve this website.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing newsletters from this site.

Service providers and hosting

We rely on reputable service providers to host this website and, where applicable, deliver email correspondence. These providers process information on our behalf and only to the extent needed to provide their services.

Retention

Where we receive information from you by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we retain it for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to remove or anonymize it.

Safeguards

We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we do not claim guaranteed security.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have submitted through this site, or to withdraw a prior inquiry, by emailing train@rescueforge.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for adult learners and organizational contacts. Where a program is open to minors, a parent or guardian is expected to arrange registration and provide any information on the minor's behalf.
